Overview & Highlights

Welcome to La table de Grans, a culinary gem nestled in the heart of Grans, France. Located at 12 Pl. Jean Jaurès, this charming restaurant invites you to indulge in a delightful dining experience. Upon entering, you are greeted with the warm ambiance of a recently refurbished space, complemented by a spacious terrace shaded by graceful plane trees, making it the perfect spot to savor a meal outdoors.

As a food reviewer for Menustic, I find myself captivated by the distinctive offerings at La table de Grans. The highlight of the menu lies in its selection of salads and tapas, which have garnered praise from customers like Edwina Cunningham-Hill, who extols their quality and flavor. The tapas are not only perfect for sharing but also exemplify the restaurant's focus on fresh, local ingredients.

While the menu may lean towards meat-focused dishes, some guests have noted a desire for more vegetarian options—a sentiment reflected in reviews from loyal patrons. Nevertheless, the standout dishes remain the expertly crafted starters and desserts. The lemon tart and chocolate dessert have been hailed as the stars of the menu, providing a delectable conclusion to any meal.

The attentive staff adds to the experience, ensuring that guests feel welcome despite the occasional slow service during peak times. They are always ready to recommend a cocktail from the impressive drink menu, perfect for unwinding on the terrace. And for music lovers, the lively atmosphere transforms on Thursday evenings with live performances, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to your dining experience.

In summary, La table de Grans is a must-visit destination for those seeking a delightful fusion of good food, pleasant atmosphere, and great service. Whether you are enjoying tapas with friends or indulging in a rich dessert under the stars, this restaurant promises an unforgettable evening.

Visitor Testimonials (894)

The salads and tapas menu are the best options in my opinion. Not many vegetarian options. Helpful staff, lovely atmosphere. Live music on Thursdays is great!

Lovely restaurant with nice outside area, service was a little slow as there were only 2 people covering the whole outside area so to a while to get bit sorted. Cocktails were good! Starters were good. The mains, the risotto with prawns was good, but the duck was past well done when it was meant to be medium. The deserts were the star of the meal, the lemon tart and chocolate were delicious.

Off the centre of the small old town, a large terrace under plane trees (platanes). Refurbished recently, the table and chairs are new. The menu alarmingly lacks in vegetarian and vegan options. The food is good, the staff nice enough and the prices are steep.the atmosphere cannot be overstated: it's lovely!

Nice local restaurant with a fancy part and a tapas bar part. Very good food for good prices. Recommended
